Chip Hope was established in Taipei in 1993 and since then it has developed incredibly, managing to grow each year and to reach important milestones. The company was established with initial capital of NT$5 million and in 2006 it managed to increase its capital to NT$315 million.

Currently the company is one of the key distributors of Elan Microelectronics in the category of consumer electronics, PC peripherals, communication, IC and others.

Chip Hope is one of the worldwide leading companies in optoelectronics and flash memory products. This accomplishment could be achieved thanks to the efforts made by the company in the flash memory series products, optoelectronics technologies/devices/system, and system software.
