xD Picture Cards

Our range of xD Picture Cards are manufactured by the two market leaders in xD Picture Cards - Fujifilm and Olympus. The xD cards come in a range of capacities including 1gb and 2GB. The xD Picture cards are specifically designed for use in certain Fujifilm and Olympus digital cameras. xD cards manufactured by Olympus include the Panorama function available on many Olympus cameras.
The xD Picture Cards are compatible across brands, which means a Fujifilm card will work in an Olympus camera and vice versa. xD is an abbreviation of extreme Digital which was the original name for the xD memory cards.
xD flash memory cards can also be used in Olympus digital voice recorders as well as the Fujifilm specific mp3 player supporting the xD cards.
xD Picture Cards are available in M and H types. Type H is slightly faster than Type M, although the speed difference is minimal in most digital cameras.
